Michelle Markert's passion for interior design began in childhood. Her favorite pastime was decorating her dollhouse–rearranging furniture, sewing curtains, and laying floors. Her family constantly seemed to be involved in a home renovation, so paint samples, cabinet finishes, and fabric swatches became an extension of her toys.

What started as a childhood hobby evolved into a successful career in home construction and interior design with clients from Boston to Cape Cod. Along the way Michelle worked in financial services and obtained an MBA from Babson College. In addition to running her own design firm, she has a successful partnership with her brother at Veatch Property Development in spec home construction. This allows her to merge her creative vision with practical execution, creating homes that resonate on aesthetic and functional levels. 

Michelle takes great pleasure in getting to know her clients before making recommendations so she can ensure that their homes reflect their needs and style. She combines her creative vision and skills with an understanding of how her clients function; this collaborative process results in spaces that are inviting, livable, and beautiful.
